In 2009 Caat was employed as an editor and music programmer at the Dutch soul & jazz station Radio 6 (NTR)
Meanwhile Cat was busy developing her own radio skills, starting off at Amsterdam's Red Light Radio together with DJ’s Ari Deelder and Ben Penn. Two years later things really hit off when she was offered her own show ‘Thelonious’ on one of Holland's largest local radio stations Radio Rijnmond in Rotterdam, focusing mainly on old school jazz. When she was asked to host and produce the late night show 'Wakkere Honden' (also at Radio Rijnmond) her playlists expanded considerably, containing heavy soul, ska, exotica, rock & roll and classic r&b. In 2016 ‘Thelonious’ changed into 'A Deeper Shade of Soul' where Cat focused on the best soul tracks she could find in her broad music collection. In 2011, together with DJ collective DANSBAR, Cat started performing live club sets, taking things further with obscure soul, disco and boogie tracks, mainly from vinyl. In 2017 she started a new collaboration together with radio producer and music lover Fleur van den Breemer (NPO Radio 6 and 4) under the name Bitches Brew.
