Argentine-born, Brooklyn resident Fast Ram's interest in acid and rave culture started in his teens. After 10 years of working under a different alias playing in clubs and festivals around half of the planet, he decided to go back to the sounds he loved most: those of the Roland TB-303, rave stabs, Alpha Juno hoovers, and second-generation breakbeats. He built a hardware-only, 90s-inspired setup, re-learned how to approach music-making, and honed his sound while taking a hiatus from live performances, social media and other distractions.
